The association is concerning the research, academic performance, and placements. The universities are selected on their touch with the industry and their focus on research and professional sides.

These universities provide admissions in several programs such as Diploma, Undergraduate, Post Graduate, and Doctorate. The Ministry of Human Resource Development wants to ensure the quality level of education, and for the same, they have chosen the three institutes that hold national importance. 

Now, Gujarat Government has come up with “Study In Gujarat,” in which the state invites National and International students to study and prosper in Gujarat!

Study in Gujarat Campaign

The Gujarat State Government is taking a step towards reconstructing Gujarat into an Education Hub as part of the Study in India campaign. With this Gujarat Government is planning to target almost 10000 foreign students for their Universities and higher education academic institutions.

Besides, the target of 10000 foreign students by 2020, the Gujarat Government is also trying their best to transform the state into the Global Hub of Education. Currently, Gujarat is home to one of the best institutes in the world, such as:

  • Forensic Sciences University, (Pandit Deendayal) Petroleum University, 
  • Nirma University
  • Ganpat University

These are just a few of the universities of Gujarat that host a number of foreign students from all over the world. The Government of Gujarat is expecting a rise in these numbers by the year 2022.

Presently, more than 2000 foreign students are gaining knowledge at various higher education institutions in the state. The Gujarat government plans to add almost 8000 more students by the year 2022. 

Gujarat Government is planning to bring out new policies for admission, which will come with several incentives. Here, the aim is to transform Gujarat into a favourable study destination for foreign students.
